Solazyme Roquette Nutritionals to Build Algae Flour Manufacturing Facility in France

Solazyme Roquette Nutritionals has announced on October 28th the location of its second phase of manufacturing facility, for the production of its microalgae derived food ingredient: Whole Algalin Flour.

This second facility, located at Roquette’s commercial production plant in Lestrem (France), will allow the company to expand production to 5,000 metric tons in 2012. This second phase will complete the first 300 metric ton phase, operational in 2012.

Solazyme Roquette Nutritionals, LLC (SRNutritionals) is a company offering ingredients based on microalgae.
