Description :
Arganyl™, an active ingredient derived from argan leaves, is proven to be effective against these external stressors. The flavonoids contained in the leaves have been isolated, purified and concentrated to give Arganyl™.
Combining anti-UVA and anti-air pollutants with ROS-scavenging, Anti-RCS, and anti-MMPs activity, Arganyl™ protects the skin cells and macromolecules against oxidative damage from environmental factors.
In vitro main results:
- Arganyl™ protects against damage caused by PM2.5 (Diesel Particulate extract containing several PAHs (size of particles is not titrated)) present in air pollutants: -25% of ROS production in keratinocytes exposed to PM2.5
- Arganyl™ protects against the harmful synergistic effects of Polycyclic Aromatic
Hydrocarbon such as Benzo[a]Pyrene (B[a]P) (coming e.g. from exhaust gas) and UVA
Lipid peroxidation (MDA level) decreased by 31% in keratinocytes exposed to B[a]P & UVA.
In vivo main results:
Arganyl™ reduces deleterious oxidative effects of UVA on the skin with proven and
significantly better results than placebo in vivo.
ROS production decreased by 41% in panelist's skin exposed to UVA irradiation (measured by
chemiluminescence)
Arganyl™ is an original natural solution for preserving the skin against premature aging.

ARGANYL™ PW LS 9830 corresponds to an anhydrous form or (for an identical efficiency) 14 times more concentrated than the corresponding liquid form. The development of an anhydrous form significantly reduces the quantity of packaging required and the energy consumption for transporting these products. Moreover, the anhydrous form makes it possible to dispense generally with the use of preservatives of petrochemical origin.
