Description :
The range EnviroGuard® launched in 2010 is a family of Unsaturated Polyester Resins (UPR), accessible to customers, with 20 to 50% of bio-sourced content. These resins have same physical properties, UV & chemical resistance compared to conventional UPR resins.

- Depending on the renewable material content, the use of Enviroguard® resins provides a carbon footprint (CO2 emissions) from 10 to 30% inferior to traditional resins.
- A Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) has been performed on the use of Enviroguard® with flax fibers for a lounge seat application. Results show -31% of the green house gases (GHG) emissions compared to standard resin with glass fibres.
