DERNATAC® P105

DRT

Description :
This resin is produced from Tall-Oil rosin and esterified with pentaerythritol, which is fully biobased. Tall-Oil rosin is a mixture of resinic acids coming from the Tall-Oil, a by-product obtained by paper mills operating with a Kraft process. Many of these paper mills are present in the South West of France next to our plants, which allows us to be close to our sources of raw materials (reduced emissions).

This product provides properties that are interesting in the coating, varnishes or adhesives industries and especially as additives in green bitumen. It is used to provide a high quality equivalent to the oil-based binders for asphalt used in insulating coatings or roads.
